With a whole week off of school and snow on the ground for Spring Break, we had to find fun things to do. So I went to the computer, found fun coupons and off we went. The kids got swim suits in their Easter baskets this year so we decided to break them in at Surf N Swim. The kids had a blast...we had never been there before and they were quite intrigued with the waves. I put floaties on Eastons little arms and he learned to float all by his self.
We made big plans to go to Classic on $2 Tuesday but I then realized that the $2 deal started at 5pm. Knowing this wouldn't work out and not wanting to spend $7 per kid per activity at classic, we did the next best thing which was buy a bunch of tokens at Chuck E Cheese. Chuck E Cheese is one of the kid's fav places to go, so we ate lunch, and then we packed up and went to play games for the afternoon.
We also had a cake party with our left over B-day cake. Easton enjoyed the cake a lot!
It was nice having the kids home and not having to worry about the hustle and bustle of school and homework. We had a great time together! The only thing that would have made it better is if Dad could have been there with us...but he is working very long hours these days. Thanks Dad for working so hard for us!
