I talked Kip into doing The Dirty Dash with me. Its a 6.2 mile run through mud and obstacles. It was a blast and even Kip said he had fun. The above are pictures of before the race....when we were still clean.
This is a photo of the huge mud pit at the end. The flags are low so it forces you to crawl under them through the mud. Its pretty deep so if by a small chance you didn't get muddy on the trail...you for sure will be going into the finish line.
And this is one of the world's largest slip n slides. This was by far the funnest part of the course in my opinion, and it washed some of the mud off of you...momentarily that is.
And here is one of our after pictures. My shirt used to be purple and Kip's was light blue. I haven't been that dirty in a long time. I actally slid on my stomach in the mud...on purpose...a few times. It was like being a kid again :)
How fun, good for you guys!!! Ryan and I thought about doing it, but obviously we didn't! Maybe next year? I love all your posts! Your family is so cute and hilarious! Looks like you guys also had a very fun and busy summer. We do need to get together soon.
