What does Hits 1 mean?

I have to start this post by reporting a bit of a fender bender I performed myself :).  I some how managed to run or drive over one of those large square metal covers that go over water holes/meters and what not to protect them.  Needless to say it made some damage to the running board on the right side of our vehicle. 

This post will make more since if you keep  the above scenario in mind....

In our car we have XM radio.  Those of you familiar with XM may be familiar with the station named Hits 1.  Its basically a station that plays all of the latest hits.

We were driving along listening to the Hits 1 station when Kade asked, "Mom, since you hit that metal thing, is that why it says Hits 1?  I couldn't help but laugh, and explained that no, the car does not keep track of how many accidents I get into (thank goodness) and that it was just the name of the radio station. 

I tell ya, my kids are so entertaining to me :)
