Kyler

October 15th, 2011 @ 1245 pm, Kyler Austin Willis was born. He weighed in at a whopping 6 lbs 6oz and was 18 inches long. He is perfect!

Below is a picture of the night Kyler met his brothers and sister for the first time.

And this is what they had to say about him....
Because Kyler's bilirubin levels were critical, we had to stay an extra 1/2 day in the hospital before they would discharge him (he had to be under the bili lights for awhile longer)
But then we finally got to go home!  Here is Kyler all strapped in, ready to go!

The first 2 weeks of Kyler's life he had to be in a bili bed with a bili blanket.  We had to make daily trips to the lab for bilirubin checks.  This was really hard for me, because I just wanted to hold the little guy. Because Kyler's bilirubin levels weren't falling fast enough, the Dr said unless he was eating or having his diaper changed, he had to stay on the lights.

Kyler is growing so fast!
For my own records and rememberance this is just how fast:

Birth:  6.6lbs, 18 inches
6 days old:  6.7oz, 19.25 inches / 20 % in weight, 25% in length
2 weeks:  7.13lbs, 19.25 inches /  25% in both weight and length
2 months:  14.6lbs, 22.5 inches / 90% in weight, 20% in lenght (my little fat man :)
