Mckayla won Reflections!

My sweet Mckayla submitted a Reflections entry this year.  The theme was Beauty is....  As Mckayla and I talked about what beauty is I told her that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.  She then decided to do 30 days of beauty.  For 30 days Mckayla and I talked about what beauty was to her that specific day.  Then she wrote it down.  Some days she found beauty in a cloud and others it was Easton's laugh.  All in all I think it was about 12 pages of writing that she submitted.  She ended up winning in her age category.  Tomorrow there will be an awards ceremony.  I think her entry will now go to district to be judged.  I am so proud of her!  Expect to see a picture from the awards ceremony posted by her proud mama :).
